Petfolk Sandy Springs Petcare Center is seeking a Veterinary Assistant Business Manager to blend clinical care with operational leadership. You’ll lead daily operations, coach teammates, and serve as on-site leader when the Business Manager is away, while continuing to deliver excellent patient care on the clinic floor.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Previous clinical leadership experience required.
• Strong technical skills in patient care, diagnostics, and anesthesia support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate teammates.
• Comfortable balancing clinical responsibilities with operational leadership.
• Fear Free Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care, including diagnostics, treatment support, surgical preparation, and anesthesia monitoring
• Assist with radiology, dentistry, laboratory diagnostics, and medical documentation
• Educate pet parents on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Promote Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques
• Lead by example through strong technical skills and medical excellence
• Support training and development of Veterinary Assistants and Veterinary Technicians
• Champion Petfolk initiatives and help drive key clinic performance metrics
• Support daily Pet Care Center operations and serve as the acting clinic leader when the Business Manager is unavailable
