Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a portfolio of veterinary hospitals across the Dallas–Fort Worth market. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of multi-site operations experience in healthcare or veterinary settings and can oversee 10–14 hospitals with a hands-on, field-focused leadership style.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive growth, optimize P&L, recruit and retain talent, and build a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-site operational and/or management experience in healthcare services
• P&L responsibility and budget management experience
• Strong communication skills and executive presence
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field (approx. 70% of time)

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of 10–14 general practice veterinary hospitals
• Develop culture and leadership across sites; coach and mentor managers
• Drive growth, operational excellence, and market expansion
• Partner with VP Operations and Senior Director to execute strategic plans
