Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Marietta, GA is seeking a compassionate veterinary professional to join our Medical Oncology team as a technician or assistant. You’ll provide nursing care across diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, and support chemotherapy procedures in a fast-paced specialty/emergency setting.

Experience in veterinary oncology or critical care is valued, as is strong client communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience with strong nursing foundation.
• Experience with venipuncture, blood collection, and lab diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and client education skills; thrive in fast-paced specialty settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide compassionate nursing care for oncology patients across diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Prepare and administer chemotherapy and manage procedures per safety standards.
• Educate clients about treatment plans and at-home care; collaborate with specialty teams.
