Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency in Marietta, GA is seeking a Veterinary Technician, LVT, or Veterinary Assistant to join our Medical Oncology team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced specialists, support advanced cancer treatment, and grow your skills in a collaborative specialty hospital.

This full-time position runs 7:00 AM–5:00 PM with 10‑hour shifts. You will provide oncology nursing, chemotherapy support, venipuncture, lab diagnostics, and client education while

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience with nursing focus.
• Experience with venipuncture, blood collection, and labs.
• Attention to detail and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and client education skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide oncology nursing care throughout diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Monitor patient comfort, treatment response, and quality of life.
• Support chemotherapy appointments, rechecks, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications, fluids, and maintain medical records.
