Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Center in Upland, CA seeks a Board Certified or Residency Trained Oncologist to provide high-quality veterinary care. You’ll work with a skilled team, including technicians and support staff, under the supervision of Hospital and Regional Managers.

The facility offers a renovated, full-service hospital with in-house labs, ultrasound, ECG, endoscopy, biosafety cabinet, and more.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college.
• 1-year rotational internship in small animal medicine, surgery, ER.
• Completed a 3-year AVMA-approved residency program.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups.
• Communicate with clients and educate them about care.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols.
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency.
• Collaborate with Hospital Manager on weekly priorities.
• Monitor and optimize hospital protocols daily.
