Job summary

Partner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center (PVESC) in Richmond, VA is seeking a veterinary neurologist for a full- or part-time position. You will work with a collaborative hospital team to shape the neurology department and advance patient care within a sustainable, team-centered environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and developing treatment plans for neurological diseases, coordinating with ER and other departments, and engaging in imaging, procedures, and surgeries as needed.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Board certification or neurology residency training.
• Virginia licensure or ability to transfer license.
• Excellent communication with team and pet families.
• Commitment to high standards of medicine and ethics.
• Clinical experience in emergency medicine or a specialty internship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological diseases.
• Collaborate with ER and other departments to coordinate care.
• Participate in imaging, procedures, and surgeries as needed.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship within the department.
• Engage in clinical research or trials when available.
