Job summary

SAGE Campbell is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our established and collaborative specialty team in Campbell, California. This full-time position offers a base salary of $250,000-$300,000 based on experience and qualifications, with production potential and strong imaging capabilities on-site (MRI/CT).

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for California license.
• Board Certification in Veterinary Neurology (DACVIM - Neurology) or residency training and board eligible.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with interest in complex neurologic cases.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex neurologic cases across a diverse referral population.
• Perform comprehensive neurologic examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced imaging capabilities, including on-site MRI and CT, to support neurologic workups.
• Collaborate closely with Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Rehabilitation, Oncology, and other specialty teams.
• Manage acute and chronic neurologic conditions and provide continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
• Collaborate with the surgical team on neurologic patients requiring advanced surgical intervention.
• Develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted Neurology resource for the community.
• Mentor technicians and support staff as part of daily case management.
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and ongoing protocol development.
• Help grow and refine the Neurology service in alignment with hospital priorities.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during complex medical situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
