Job summary

SAGE Campbell is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join a collaborative specialty team in Campbell, California. The role offers an established referral network, access to on-site MRI and CT, and a commitment to compassionate, high-caliber patient care.

Qualifications

  • DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with California licensure eligibility.
  • Board certification in Veterinary Neurology (DACVIM) or residency training and board eligibility.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with interest in complex neurology.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage complex neurologic cases across a diverse referral population.
  • Perform comprehensive neurologic examinations and develop diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Utilize advanced imaging capabilities, including on-site MRI and CT, to support neurologic workups.
  • Collaborate closely with Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Rehabilitation, Oncology, and other specialty teams.
  • Manage acute and chronic neurologic conditions and provide continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team on neurologic patients requiring advanced surgical intervention.
  • Develop strong relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as a trusted Neurology resource for the community.
  • Mentor technicians and support staff as part of daily case management.
  • Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and ongoing protocol development.
  • Help grow and refine the Neurology service in alignment with hospital priorities.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during complex and emotional medical situations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

SAGE Campbell is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Neurologist to join our established and highly collaborative specialty team. This is an opportunity to practice advanced Neurology alongside our experienced Neurologist among other experienced specialists while having access to the technology, support, and diverse caseload needed to deliver exceptional patient care.

SAGE Campbell's tenured specialty team includes specialists in Anesthesiology, Emergency & Critical Care, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Rehabilitation, and Surgery, in addition to ER and Urgent Care clinicians. This depth of expertise creates a uniquely collaborative environment for managing complex neurologic cases and provides natural opportunities for interdisciplinary case management.

The hospital is equipped with on-site MRI and CT, giving you access to advanced imaging capabilities within the hospital. SAGE Campbell is also investing in its future through an ongoing remodel that will include a new operating room with a C-arm, further expanding the hospital's capabilities for advanced specialty medicine.

In your day-to-day, you will:

What You Bring
