Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology (ACVIM-Oncology) or residency training in Medical Oncology.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

• A passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and advancing specialty medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage oncology cases in collaboration with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support daily client and RDVM communication, including treatment updates and triage.
• Mentor chemotherapy-trained staff and contribute to intern education.
• Pursue growth opportunities such as ultrasound or clinical trial coordination.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.
