Ethos is seeking a Veterinary Medical Oncologist in Annapolis, MD for a full-time role with a four-day workweek and a schedule that avoids new cases or transfers on weekends. You will join a collaborative oncology team delivering advanced cancer care and building strong relationships with referring veterinarians.

The position emphasizes mentorship, ongoing professional development, and work-life balance, with access to CT, MRI, advanced imaging, and radiation oncology resources.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology (DACVIM-Oncology) or residency training in Medical Oncology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced oncology care with individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, Surgery, and others for multidisciplinary care.
• Oversee chemotherapy protocols and ensure safety/compliance with USP 800.
• Utilize CT, MRI, and advanced imaging for planning and management.
• Support client communications, treatment updates, and referrals.
• Mentor technicians and support staff to foster a collaborative clinical environment.
• Pursue ultrasound training, electrochemotherapy, and trials to expand expertise.
• Participate in rounds, journal clubs, and continuing education.
