SAGE Veterinary Center in Concord, California, is seeking a dynamic medical oncologist to join our growing team. As the primary medical oncologist, you will collaborate with specialists including surgeons, internists, criticalists, and anesthesiologists. Our hospital boasts a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and implements fear-free principles throughout.
Our facility spans 25,000 sq ft, with 18,000 sq ft dedicated to clinical space, featuring on-site MRI, 16-slice CT, C-arm, ICU with oxygen cages, three ultrasound rooms, six operating rooms, and a cat-only ICU ward. We offer integrative medicine services, electrochemotherapy, and access to stereotactic radiation at our sister locations.
The hospital's design promotes collaboration, with each floor featuring a central doctor workstation, large windows for case monitoring, and abundant natural light. Our oncology suite includes a chemo hood and dedicated chemo administration room.
Located in Concord, CA, our hospital offers the amenities of a vibrant urban setting with the comfort of a close-knit community. It is approximately three hours from Lake Tahoe and near the Sierra Nevada Mountains, with nearby Walnut Creek providing entertainment, shopping, and dining options. Housing costs are lower compared to the Peninsula, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco.
The compensation range for this role is typically between $200,000 and $275,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
