Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active licensure as a veterinarian in the state.
• Current DEA license.
• Current USDA accreditation or ability to obtain within two months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care with comprehensive exams, diagnostics, and preventive care.
• Perform routine and complex surgical procedures (spays/neuters, abdominal surgeries, mass removals).
• Conduct routine and complex dental procedures and radiographs.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate care with referrals as needed.
• Document findings and client communications clearly in the medical record.

Education

DVM or equivalent AVMA‑accredited degree

Active veterinary license in US state

Current DEA license
