Applicants must hold a DVM from an AVMA-accredited school, be actively licensed, and possess a DEA license. USDA accreditation and strong communication skills are required to ensure excellent outcomes for pets and clients.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active veterinary license in the state of practice.
• DEA license required.
• USDA accreditation or completion within two months of hire.
• Comfort with anesthesia and routine surgeries; strong patient care skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care including exams, diagnoses, and preventive care.
• Perform surgeries such as spays/neuters and mass removals.
• Perform dental procedures including extractions and radiograph evaluations.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate with referral hospitals for continuity of care.
• Participate in rounds and share knowledge with hospital staff.
• Maintain accurate and concise medical records.
