Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state license to practice veterinary medicine.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality with commitment to core values and collaborative relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of the financial and operating management of a hospital.
• Proficiency with common office software (MS Office, Outlook).
• Enthusiasm for a growth-oriented culture and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor all associate veterinarians, conduct performance discussions, and support professional development goals.
• Model medical excellence in medicine, client service, and efficiency while practicing as an associate veterinarian.
• Collaborate with the Practice Manager to develop the annual operating plan and monitor hospital performance toward EBITDA goals.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and oversee externship and mentorship programs.
• Represent the hospital in community engagement and professional leadership within Mission Pet Health network.
