Job summary

Mission Pet Health seeks a Medical Lead Veterinarian to champion clinical excellence and mentor a team of associate veterinarians in Coventry, RI. You will partner with the Practice Manager to drive quality care, build a high-performing hospital culture, and guide strategic clinical initiatives.

You will oversee medical standards, lead growth efforts, and cultivate recruitment while delivering outstanding patient care in a collaborative, education-focused environment.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state veterinary license.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians; coach on development goals and production.
• Model medical excellence in medicine, client service, and efficiency while practicing as an associate.
• Lead hospital performance initiatives and annual operating planning with the Practice Manager.
• Organize monthly doctor meetings and oversee externship/mentorship programs.
