Job summary

Mission Pet Health seeks a Medical Lead Veterinarian to oversee a dynamic DVM team, provide clinical leadership, and drive high-quality patient care. You will balance leadership responsibilities with active clinical practice, coaching doctors toward excellence and productive outcomes.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state veterinary license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality and collaborative approach.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of hospital financials and operating management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team, conducting regular performance discussions.
• Model medical excellence and balance leadership with clinical practice.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to achieve operating and EBITDA goals.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and mentorship programs to drive growth.
• Act as an ambassador for the hospital through community engagement.
