Mission Pet Health’s Cornelia Veterinary Hospital seeks a Medical Lead Veterinarian to mentor associates, shape clinical standards, and drive patient care excellence in a well‑established practice serving the Cornelia, GA community.

You will partner with the Practice Manager to develop the annual operating plan, lead clinical quality initiatives, and foster a growth‑oriented culture while maintaining active clinical duties as an associate veterinarian.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and valid state license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of practical clinical experience.
• Servant leadership mentality with focus on collaboration.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Understanding of hospital finances and operations.
• Proficiency with common office software (MS Office/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians and staff.
• Partner with Practice Manager to drive team engagement and clinical quality.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and supervise mentorship programs.
• Drive hospital performance toward goals and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Represent the hospital in community engagement and growth activities.
