Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is required.
• Ability to train students, residents, and new staff on procedures and equipment.
• Experience in clinical, diagnostic, healthcare, or academic laboratory settings preferred.
• Familiarity with quality control practices and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, and cytology.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and instrumentation.
• Enter, review, and maintain patient and specimen information in the LIS.
• Prepare samples for referral testing and external submissions.
• Train students, residents, and new staff on procedures and equipment.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and records to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinicians in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.
