As Medical Director, you’ll shape medical standards, mentor clinicians, and lead clinical quality initiatives while maintaining a partial caseload to stay connected to patient care.

Qualifications

• Board certification or residency training in an AVMA veterinary specialty.
• Leadership, mentorship, or medical management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for building relationships with colleagues and referring veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and strategic direction for the hospital.
• Partner with the Hospital Director to achieve operational excellence.
• Mentor and develop a team of veterinarians.
• Lead medical quality assurance and continuing education initiatives.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of clinicians.
• Maintaining a partial clinical caseload to remain actively involved in patient care.
