Job summary

Manhattan Veterinary Group is seeking a Medical Director to lead medical quality and patient care across the hospital. You will work with the field management team and be part of the hospital's leadership, guiding strategic direction and financial success while maintaining a hands-on clinical role.

In this role you will have strong backing from Operations, Marketing, HR, Payroll, and more to help you succeed, with 70% clinical focus and ~30% leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in NY, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical quality and patient care across all doctors in the hospital.
• Set and drive the hospital's strategic direction to ensure positive outcomes.
• Balance leadership responsibilities with clinical duties as a staff veterinarian (approx. 30% leadership, 70% clinical).
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and other teams to support success.
