Job summary

Manhattan Veterinary Group seeks a Medical Director to oversee medical quality and patient care with a leadership role within the hospital. You will work with the field management team and contribute to strategic direction, while maintaining clinical practice 70% of the time as a staff veterinarian.

You will be supported by Operations, Marketing, HR, and Payroll, with a strong backing to succeed in a world-class veterinary setting. This is a full-time leadership opportunity in New York.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in NY in good standing or the ability to obtain.
• Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee medical quality and patient care by all doctors in the hospital.
• Participate in hospital management and contribute to financial success.
• Set and drive the hospital's strategic direction and outcomes.
• Balance 30% leadership with 70% clinical duties as staff veterinarian.
