Job summary

The Pet Hospitals Poplar at Massey in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Veterinarian, Medical Director to lead clinical standards and hospital performance. Qualifications

• DVM/VMD and a valid state license in good standing.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• At least three years veterinary practice experience.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication.
• Strong medical ethics and professional judgement.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital medical standards in collaboration with Practice Manager and leadership team.
• Mentor and develop associate veterinarians and veterinary staff.
• Drive recruitment and retention of talent and foster clinical excellence.
• Support hospital operations with data-informed decision making and leadership.
