Western Veterinary Partners, LLC is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead Reynolds Road Animal Hospital in Toledo, OH. This role combines hands-on small animal medicine with strategic leadership to elevate patient care, mentor doctors, and drive hospital growth.

You will shape medical standards, foster a collaborative culture, and partner with hospital leadership on staffing, onboarding, and performance initiatives, while maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Eligible for Ohio veterinary license.
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary leadership experience.
• Strong surgical skills; orthopedic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with clinical excellence and high medical standards.
• Mentor veterinarians and develop team capabilities.
• Partner with leadership on recruitment, onboarding, and retention.
