PetVet Care Centers is seeking a compassionate Medical Director for Southgate Animal Hospital in Southgate, MI. You will lead clinical care, mentor veterinarians, and ensure high-quality medicine across services including wellness, dentistry, internal medicine and emergencies.

The role offers a 4-day work week, a strong support staff, and access to state-of-the-art equipment. You will collaborate with animal shelters and provide mentorship to graduates and seasoned doctors alike.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; excellent surgical and dental skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality progressive veterinary care and set medical standards.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to staff.
• Develop and enforce hospital medical policies and procedures.
• Oversee inventory, equipment budgets, and ROI for new tools.
