PetVet Care Centers is seeking a Medical Director for our Ruckersville hospital. You will lead medical standards, mentor veterinarians, and shape clinical culture while collaborating with a new leadership team.

Qualifications

• Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university.
• Current State Veterinary License.
• DEA registration must be obtained and maintained.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees medical standards and quality of care.
• Sets policies pertaining to the practice of medicine.
• Leads hospital operations with leadership team.
• Recommends additions to hospital inventory.
• Mentors staff veterinarians and leads candidate interviews.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA/AAHA).
• Manages revenue, production and KPI monitoring.
