Global Talent Partners seeks a Veterinary Medical Director in Cincinnati, OH for a leadership role combining hands-on medicine with team development across multiple hospitals. The position is hospital-based with dedicated clinical time and travel between sites.

The role emphasizes leading, coaching and maintaining high medical standards while supporting client experience and staff training. Daytime hours with some Saturday coverage are expected.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
• Active Ohio veterinary license or ability to obtain before start.
• DEA registration (or eligibility) and knowledge of controlled substances.
• Proven small-animal clinical experience including dentistry and general surgery.
• Prior leadership or mentorship experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and retain associate veterinarians; foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
• Uphold medical quality and patient safety through reviews and mentorship.
• Provide direct patient care across wellness, dentistry and general surgery.
• Partner with practice management to meet clinical and operational goals, including client experience.
• Oversee onboarding and skills development for new doctors and externs.
• Support recruitment and engagement with the local veterinary community.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and safety protocols.
• Manage medical equipment needs and maintenance with leadership.
• Address escalated client concerns and ensure access to care.
• Travel between Cincinnati-area hospitals as needed.
