Job summary

MedVet is seeking a Hospital Director to lead a dynamic veterinary hospital in Cincinnati, OH in a dyad partnership with the Medical Director. The role oversees Emergency and Specialty services and directs the Clinical Services team, including hiring, onboarding, and professional development, to deliver exceptional patient and client experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in leadership, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and strong skills in budgeting and communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in healthcare or veterinary setting is a plus but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture that supports engaged and empowered employees and continuous improvement.
• Serve as overall hospital leader in dyad with the Medical Director, directing Emergency and Specialty services.
• Lead Clinical Services team including hiring, onboarding, and development.
• Ensure resources and tools for high-quality patient, client and referral partner experience.
• Collaborate with Medical Director, Regional Leadership and finance on budgets.
• Support Clinical Management in patient care, client concerns, and referrals.
