Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; science degree preferred.
• Experience with lab tests and equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain accuracy.
• Willingness to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Use automated analyzers, microscopes and other lab diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries and diseases in support of veterinarian patient care.
• Perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal or biopsy samples received daily.
• Set up and run lab tests, read and release results according to SOPs.
• Specialize in Parasitology.
