CSRAVS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team! We are a fast growing multi-doctor practice, committed to providing high-quality medical care and excellent client service.The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a love for animals, and a meticulous approach to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our boarding and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care for boarding and hospitalized animals, including feeding, watering, and walking
• Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, runs, cages, and other animal housing areas
• Monitoring the health and well-being of all animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff
• Administering medications as directed by veterinary staff (under supervision)
• Doing laundry, washing dishes, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the hospital
• Exercising and socializing with animals as appropriate
• Assisting veterinary assistants and technicians with animal restraint and handling as needed
• Ensuring proper inventory of kennel supplies
• Maintaining accurate records of feeding, medication, and animal observations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in an animal care setting (e.g., kennel, shelter, daycare) is a plus
• A genuine love for animals and a compassionate approach to their care
• Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
