Qualifications

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations and procedures
• Restraining animals safely and humanely
• Cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms, kennels, and hospital areas
• Preparing surgical suites and instruments
• Stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Assisting with patient feeding and walking
• Doing laundry and maintaining overall hospital cleanliness
• Setting up laboratory samples for technicians
• Providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients
• Basic client communication and answering phones as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is a plus
