Job summary

Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) in Boulder, CO, is seeking a Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join a collaborative team and lead complex cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, endocrine, infectious, hematologic, urinary, and respiratory diseases.

You will oversee advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI, coordinate with Emergency, Oncology, Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging, and mentor technicians while supporting growth of Internal Medicine

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with Colorado licensure eligibility.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine (DACVIM) or Residency Trained in Internal Medicine.
• Strong communication skills with a client-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex internal medicine cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, infectious disease, endocrine, hematologic, urinary, and respiratory conditions.
• Perform and oversee advanced diagnostic procedures including ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI.
• Coordinate with Emergency & Critical Care, Oncology, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging and other services to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Mentor technicians and assistants while supporting growth and learning in Internal Medicine.
