Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's Cincinnati Care Center seeks an experienced Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join a dedicated team of emergency doctors and board-certified specialists. You will tackle complex cases with advanced diagnostics and collaborate across services to optimize patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes teaching, mentorship, and ongoing clinical excellence, with opportunities to expand expertise in ultrasound, endoscopy, and advanced imaging.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Board Certification in Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or Residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine.
• Excellent communication and client-centered care.
• Collaborative team player with a passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex internal medicine cases spanning GI, hepatobiliary, infectious disease, endocrine, hematology and respiratory conditions.
• Perform and interpret advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, CT and other imaging modalities.
• Collaborate with Emergency clinicians, surgeons and specialty teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Mentor technicians and staff while fostering a collaborative educational environment.
• Engage in continuing education and teaching to support hospital-wide clinical excellence.
