VCA Valley Oak Veterinary Center in California is seeking a Veterinary Hospitalist to provide medical care for hospitalized patients, manage treatment plans, and monitor progress while collaborating with the veterinary team. You may accept referrals and transfers, and help with emergency cases when the ER team is overwhelmed.

As a Veterinary Hospitalist, you will provide medical care for hospitalized patients, manage treatment plans, and monitor progress while collaborating closely with the veterinary team. You will also have the opportunity to accept referrals and transfers from other hospitals. When the ER team is overwhelmed, the Treatment DVM may also assist with seeing emergency cases.
This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys case management, collaboration, and providing continuity of care to hospitalized patients.
