Job summary

VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley in the Los Angeles area seeks a board-certified or residency-trained Internist to join our multi-specialty team. You’ll be supported by world-class medicine, technology, and a dedicated staff in a leading referral hospital.

Full or part-time opportunities are available. You will collaborate with two Internal Medicine specialists and other services to deliver exceptional patient care while teaching and mentoring a dynamic care team.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure to practice in good standing or eligibility.
  • Residency trained or Diplomate board certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized internal medicine care within a multi-specialty hospital.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation

  • Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $250-$325k.
  • This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in (state), or the ability to obtain
  • Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
