Job summary

Ludwig's Corner Veterinary Hospital is seeking a dynamic Hospital Manager to lead our expanding team and drive profitable operations. You will partner with the Managing Veterinarian to ensure top-tier patient care and exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong hospital culture.

The role requires on-site presence and a background in retail, services, hospitality, healthcare, or consumer services, with 3–5 years in a managerial capacity and a bachelor’s degree in business or related

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 3–5 years of managerial experience with customer service.
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service industry with increasing responsibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete ownership of P&L and accountable for hospital performance.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast needs.
• Manage accounts receivable.
• Oversee hospital inventory and control costs.
• Manage payroll for hospital staff.
• Develop the hospital schedule and manage labor costs.
• Champion change and promote best practices.
• Lead the hospital team to improve processes across client service, operations, and admin tasks.
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital.
• Track and maintain licensure for all DVMs.
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations.
• Deliver the highest level of client service.
