Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered.
• Bachelor's degree in business, health science or related field strongly preferred.
• At least five years of direct office management experience, including two years of supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience may be considered.
• Ability to provide courteous, prompt, and efficient customer service.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable software.
• Establish and maintain productive working relationships.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work some weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work around animals, chemicals, and various clinical environments.
• Possibility of extended keyboarding/standing and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff across hospital support departments and meets labor goals.
• Hires and trains staff; handles onboarding paperwork.
• Onboards new clinic staff to hospital operations.
• Reviews performance, provides feedback, and addresses issues with Regional Manager weekly.
• Conducts timely performance appraisals.
• Manages policies for technical hospital operations and seeks approvals.
• Coordinates schedules for technical and administrative staff with the DVM.
• Monitors overtime and punch accuracy; manages daily operations.
• Ensures compliance with administrative responsibilities with support teams.
• Oversees budgeting, supply purchasing, and facility maintenance.
• Submits vendor invoices and secures W-9s from vendors.
• Reviews revenue and labor with leadership on a weekly call.
• Oversees local accounting processes and financial accuracy.
• Manages inventory documentation and systems.
• May oversee billing practices and insurance contracts.
• Maintains licensure display and updates DVM licenses.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
