Job summary

South Metro Animal Emergency Care is seeking an Assistant Hospital Administrator to join our 24/7 ER leadership team. You will help drive hospital performance, oversee HR, finances, and operations, and partner with veterinary professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a veterinary clinic setting, with emergency medicine experience preferred. Salary is based on experience and is competitive for the market.

Qualifications

• AA or Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in operations, financial and facilities management, and/or HR.
• One year of hospital management experience in veterinary or health industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Hospital Administrator in driving hospital performance and culture.
• Oversee HR, financial, operations, and business activities of the practice.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and supervision of staff with guidance from leadership.
• Coordinate marketing, community relations, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
