Position:

The Hospital Manager supports overall business operations and is integral to daily hospital functions. Responsibilities include overseeing staff hiring and training, managing financial aspects such as billing, banking, and inventory, and ensuring facility cleanliness and supply management. The manager fosters a welcoming, customer-focused work culture.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Managing financial reporting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, budgeting, income reconciliation, credit, and banking.
2. Inventory management, including process flow and control.
3. Managing patient medical records to ensure high accuracy and quality.
4. Interviewing and hiring staff members as needed.
5. Providing training for new hires.
6. Scheduling staff and doctors' needs.
7. Promoting and maintaining a patient-centered environment.
8. Resolving client issues that cannot be addressed by doctors or staff.
9. Participating in community involvement, including fundraising and charity events.
10. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, and stand, stoop, and bend for long periods.

Skills / Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or relevant education and experience.
2. Certified Veterinary Practice Manager certification is desirable but not required.
3. Customer service attitude.
4. Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking and prioritization.
5. Professional, positive, people-oriented attitude with good interpersonal skills.
6. Team-oriented with skills to support a team-based culture.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
