Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership, business management, or operations management experience required.
  • Veterinary hospital management experience strongly preferred; medical, dental, or healthcare practice management experience also considered.
  • Previous veterinary experience (e.g., Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or Client Service Representative) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree, CVPM, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, staffing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficient with business software and able to adapt quickly to new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and support department leads, oversee hiring and development, maintain staffing levels, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Grays Harbor Veterinary Services is seeking a Veterinary Hospital Manager who brings together operational excellence, a talent for mentorship, and a commitment to team culture. The ideal candidate will have prior veterinary experience and a proven background in leadership, training, and team development—paired with a business-minded approach to hospital growth.

As our Hospital Manager, you’ll work closely with the Medical Director and leadership team, taking ownership of daily operations and guiding our hospital toward continued success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Schedule, benefits and compensation**:

This is a full-time, salaried position and schedule flexibility is required based on business needs.

  • Compensation: $28.85-36.00 per hour, for each hour worked
  • Bi-annual bonus opportunities: Based on hospital performance
  • Hiring bonus package: $2000 based on credentials
  • CE allowance: up to $1,000 based on credentials

Your Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership, business management, or operations management experience required.
  • Veterinary hospital management experience strongly preferred; medical, dental, or healthcare practice management experience also considered.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Pay Range

$28.85 - $36 USD
