Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or relevant education and work experience.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; client-focused and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting including accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, inventory, and banking.
• Oversee inventory management, process flow, and controls.
• Maintain patient medical records with high accuracy.
• Hire and train staff; coordinate scheduling for staff and doctors.
• Provide training for new hires; promote a patient-centered environment.
• Foster community involvement and charity activities.

Position:
The Hospital Manager is responsible for supporting the overall business operations. This position is a key part of the day to day operation. The Manager oversees the business of the operations in order to ensure the steady workflow of uninterrupted care and service. The position is responsible for the staff, including supporting the hiring and training for team needs. The Manager will oversee the financial aspects of the business such as billing and banking, inventory, equipment selection as well as facility cleanliness and the ordering of needed supplies. This leader will ensure a welcoming and customer focused work culture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the financialreporting of the business, including accounts receivable, accountspayable, inventory, budgeting, income reconciliation, creditand banking
• Inventorymanagement includingprocessflow and control
• Managingpatientmedical recordsand ensuring the highest quality of accuracy
• Responsible for managing the interviewingand hiring of neededstaffmembers
• Providing trainingfor new hires
• Schedulingneedsfor staff and doctors
• Promotesand helps ensure apatientcentered environment
• Facilitates resolutions for client problems that cannot be resolved by doctors or staff
• Community involvement, including participation in fundraising and charity events
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods
