Ideal candidates have veterinary industry awareness, strong leadership, independence, and adaptability. You will hire and train staff, manage billing and inventory, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or relevant education and work experience.
• Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable but not required.
• Customer service attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.
• People-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented with ability to support a team-based culture.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing the financial reporting of the business including billing and banking.
• Inventory management and control over processes.
• Managing patient medical records with high accuracy.
• Recruiting and hiring of staff members and providing training.
• Scheduling for staff and doctors.
• Promotes a patient-centered environment.
• Facilitates resolutions for client problems that cannot be resolved by doctors or staff.
• Community involvement, including fundraising and charity events.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Education
