Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Hospital Administrator to lead operations and support its mission of compassionate care. This role requires strategic planning and collaboration with the Medical Director to ensure high performance and compliance while fostering a positive and effective workplace for employees.
Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital is thrilled to expand our leadership team with the addition of a Hospital Administrator! We’re looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to oversee all aspects of hospital operations, support our mission of compassionate care, and cultivate a thriving, collaborative environment for our team.
As the Hospital Administrator, you will be responsible for strategic planning, high-level business operations, and driving hospital performance alongside our Medical Director. You will work closely with the Hospital Manager, providing support and guidance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and long-term success.
In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance across all departments, ensuring alignment between clinical and operational goals. You will develop and implement operational strategies to support both short- and long-term objectives, while overseeing hospital financial performance—including forecasting, budgeting, revenue growth, and expense control. By monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), you will identify and address areas of opportunity to enhance efficiency and profitability. Your leadership will also support recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent, while fostering a culture of accountability, positivity, and collaboration. In partnership with the Medical Director, you’ll ensure compliance with all relevant veterinary regulations and corporate policies, while actively identifying opportunities for hospital growth, community outreach, and marketing initiatives.
This is a full-time, salaried position with flexible availibility needed to meet the evolving needs of the practice.

Foothill Farms Veterinary Hospital believes in providing a Fear Free experience for people and patients. We provide a broad spectrum of procedures, sound advice, and stress-free veterinary care to small animals and pocket pets. In addition to general wellness, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, our team also provides holistic services (such as acupuncture), practices Reiki, and works closely with specialists for more intensive procedures and orthopedics. Our facility is well-equipped and full of incredible teammates who love people as much as they do animals. Our RVTs are well-utilized and many of our staff members are Fear Free certified professionals. Easily accessed off Auburn Blvd, our hospital is in a great location about 10 miles from downtown Sacramento.
