Job summary

Gentle Care Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated grooming-focused team member to provide high-quality pet grooming in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will care for dogs in a modern facility and help create a calm, enjoyable experience for pets and their families.

Responsibilities include grooming tasks, maintaining a clean grooming area, and communicating with clients about grooming needs. A professional demeanor and team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient at grooming.
• Ability to lift dogs up to 50 pounds.
• Professional demeanor.
• Calming presence with pets.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.

Join a supportiveteamin a high-end, modernenvironment. Pet Groomerswill performtopquality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have currentgrooming experience and be able to consistently provide pups and parents with a high level of gentle and professional care. Job duties may include but not limited to:

• Clean the dog's teeth
• Maintain an upbeat attitude
• Calm an anxious dog
• Ensure company policies are being followed
• Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
• Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
• Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
• Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficient at Grooming
• Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a professional manner
• Calming presence to pets
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work on a team
