Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front desk/receptionist/customer service experience in medical, dental, urgent care, veterinary, or high-volume service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and active listening.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, multi-line phone systems, data entry, and payment processing or POS.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software/workflows.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk, collect intake information, and confirm appointment details professionally.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system; direct calls and respond to scheduling inquiries.
• Process check-outs, including payments and scheduling future appointments.
• Provide patient, client, and family support with composure during stressful situations.
• Enter data accurately and maintain organized records in the practice management system.
