Thrive Pet Healthcare's Pet Specialists of Austin is seeking a Facilities Coordinator (Maintenance) in Austin, TX. You will support facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, repairs, compliance, and daily operations to keep our hospital safe, clean, and functional for team, patients, and clients.

This veterinary technician role requires leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to learn facility technologies.

Qualifications

• Veterinary technician experience required; specialty or emergency experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and manage facility-related technologies and systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays with on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations ensuring clean, safe, functional treatment areas.
• Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and vendor services to minimize downtime.
• Support budgeting, supply ordering, and equipment needs with hospital leadership and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and internal protocols.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inventory, repairs, and safety inspections.
• Assist with additional hospital needs and projects as requested.
