Job summary

Creature Comfort Animal Clinic is offering externships for veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education. Externs work under supervision to gain hands-on experience across patient histories, exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgical observations or procedures.

Students will also practice communication with the medical team and clients, while coordinating care and learning in a collaborative, teaching-friendly environment.

• Externship for veterinary students in clinical portion of education.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in gathering patient histories, performing physical exams, creating treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry services, observing/assisting or performing surgical procedures, and medical management of patients.
• Practice communication with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
