• Externship experience in a veterinary setting is intended to provide hands-on clinical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Gather patient histories and perform physical exams.
• Create and discuss treatment plans and order diagnostics.
• Observe or assist in surgical procedures and dentistry services.
• Medical management of patients and client communication.
• Collaborate with the medical team and support staff to ensure quality care.
