Job summary

Abqpetcarehospital offers a veterinary externship for students to gain hands-on experience in a variety of clinical skills. Participants will work alongside supervising veterinarians, learning to perform physical exams, assist in surgeries, and create treatment plans which directly impact patient care.

This externship typically lasts between two and eight weeks, available to all veterinary students regardless of their academic year. A stipend for travel and living expenses may also be provided.

Qualifications

• Veterinary students in clinical education eligible for externship.
• Ability to perform physical exams and gather patient histories.
• Development of communication skills with team and clients.
