Job summary

Oak Knoll Animal Hospital in the Quad Cities is offering a focused externship for veterinary students to gain real, hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Externs will work closely with our team to observe routine care and diagnostics while learning in a supportive setting.

Externs are mentored by two engaged veterinarians—one with general practice and exotics focus, and another with a surgical emphasis and acupuncture—supported by a skilled staff to maximize learning.

Qualifications

This externship is ideal for motivated 4 th year students who thrive in a busy, team-driven practice and are eager to learn and produce. Externs are eligible for a $2,500 stipend to support travel and living expenses.
