Abqpetcarehospital in Town of Dover provides a unique externship opportunity for third- and fourth-year veterinary students, allowing them to gain hands-on clinical experience while working closely with supervising veterinarians.
Participants will engage in various responsibilities, including patient history gathering, physical examinations, and assisting in surgical procedures. The externship duration is flexible, lasting from two to eight weeks.
A standard benefits program is provided, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with a travel and living expense stipend.
An externship experience at a North Stewart Veterinary Clinic, part of National Veterinary Associates, will give veterinary students the opportunity to understand day-to-day operations of the practice and gain valuable hands-on clinical experience. The hospital is supportive, committed to excellent medicine, and provides exceptional service to animals and their owners.
Externship duration is from two to eight weeks, depending on student and hospital schedules. Externships at North Stewart Veterinary Clinic are designed for third- and fourth-year veterinary students. Students in the clinical portion of education are eligible for a travel and living expense stipend.
